Barcamp

The name barcamp stems from early loosely organized mini conferences, often taking place at a bar. Other names for this format are unconference or open space. They all have in common that there is usually no fixed program and no speaker selection in advance. The schedule is flexible, often negotiated on premises by offer and interest.
