Digital accessibility: legal basis from 2025
Public authority websites have long been legally obliged to comply with EU accessibility requirements in order to enable participation and inclusion. However, not everyone knows that these guidelines will also be mandatory for the vast majority of online stores and even e-book providers from 2025.
We met Dr. Yehya Mohamad from Fraunhofer FIT and the “AccessibleEU” project at FrOSCon and were able to win him over for our upcoming Focus Talk. He will motivate us in the topics and provide us with assistance.
